Video Surveillance
Boundary solutions has been using and promoting IP/network based cameras for over 10 years.
Megapixel IP cameras can provide far superior resolution, functionality and connectability to allow for easier searching and reporting, whatever the need. Video data is easily retained by using a small standalone recorder for a few cameras to a NAS or SAS unit for large sites. We can plan your system, and help you identify areas of interest like identifying people and vehicle number plates. We also have access to thermal imaging software capable of monitoring temperature or trigger events other actions via thermal vision. Video surveillance can provide useful information in a retail environment by generating reports for people counts or heat maps to see the ‘hot spots’ of your store. CCTV provide a visual deterrent, for example in a retail entry displayed on a monitor adjacent the camera. In contrast, Boundary Solutions can also carry out covert installations using pinhole cameras.
Identification and Access control
Boundary Solutions can provide a complete service from photo ID cards to card access to a door, gate or barrier.
Our systems help you to enable or bar access to an individual or group as well as retaining a record of access or attempted access. Boundary Solutions can supply and install a photo ID printer with the required software for your site or provide the complete solution from taking photos to printing the cards then programming them into your access system. Our Access systems are very scalable starting at 1-door to 1000s, running on your network multiple sites are easily catered for so one card can get you access at any of your sites around the state or around Australia. Access credentials have evolved and we can provide them all, from a traditional proximity card to Biometric and Bluetooth phone app.
Alarm systems and monitoring
Boundary Solutions can design and install advanced intruder detection systems for both internal and external detection. With the changeover to NBN traditional dialler alarm systems will not work, we have a range of options from GSM diallers, 3g polled devices, and IP monitoring. Our control room is a grade 1a monitoring centre, we can monitor traditional alarm systems, video from onsite cameras, plant and equipment alarms for air conditioning or refrigeration faults as well as hi water levels just about anything we can connect a sensor to.
We can secure your yard perimeter with beams, long range PIR’s and cameras for verification. These can be hard wired or wireless and solar powered.
Network infrastructure
Security equipment has evolved over the last decade and is becoming increasingly network friendly, this has provided many opportunities to connect to your systems via the internet, wireless links, fibre optics or copper cabling. We can design and install all of the require hardware and active equipment to have your project running smoothly.
Systems Integration
Integration is our speciality, we can interconnect your systems so they operate as one.
When you integrate your CCTV and access searching historical events can be linked with an image from and associated camera. CCTV cameras can message alarm systems for control room verification, function or display changes, control lights. Point of sale systems can be linked to a CCTV system so that register transaction are recorded as part of the video image, this enables searching for events such as cash register transactions.
Weather station data can also be included into a cameras image for historical reference for example, a sailing club web page.
